Sunday NFL Pick

The San Francisco 49ers are a road favorite today when they visit the Philadelphia Eagles, and they should be. The Eagles have not been blowing anyone out of the water. They were lucky to get a win last week against the Bills and before that against the Chiefs. SF is the most complete team in the league. Their defense is stellar and they have Brock Purdy at the helm. Purdy has thrown for 2,871 yards with 19 touchdowns. They also have a guy named Christian McCaffrey, who is the best player in the league hands down. Purdy and company get it done.

Sunday NFL Pick

The Buffalo Bills will be in Philly today to take on the Eagles. The Bills are catching an Eagles team that is playing on short rest and Philadelphia is due for a letdown.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +3

Thursday NFL Pick

The 8-2 Detroit Lions and the 4-6 Green Bay Packers will play an early one today at Ford Field. The Lions are the real deal and are off to their best start since 1962. They have won 3 straight and the last 4 against their Black and Blue rival Packers. The Lions and Packers met earlier this year at Lambeau Field and Detroit rolled to a 34-20 victory. The Lions aren’t just winning, they are covering the number at 7-3 ATS.
TODAY’S PICK: DETROIT LIONS –8

Sunday NFL Pick

The Los Angeles Rams will be well-rested after their bye week when they host the Seattle Seahawks today at SoFi Stadium. This line opened up at Seattle laying 2½ and has flipped to LA laying 2. The reason for this is the Rams QB, Matthew Stafford, is expected to be behind center after missing their last game against the Packers with a thumb injury. When Stafford is healthy, he is as good as they get in the NFL. I am not sold on the Seahawks. They are not as good as their 6-3 record reflects. Sure, they can beat teams like Arizona, New York Giants, Carolina, but most teams can. When they face a quality opponent, they lose. Baltimore beat them, Cincinnati beat them and, oh yeah, so did the Rams back on September 10th in Seattle, blowing them out 30-13. Take the Rams on the money line.

Monday NFL Pick

The Buffalo Bills are in need of a win and that comes tonight in Orchard Park against the Denver Broncos. Buffalo has not lost at Rich this year and they have Josh Allen at the helm. Enough said.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS -7

Sunday NFL Pick

The 5-3 Buffalo Bills will have payback on their minds tonight when they visit the 4-3 Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. The 27-10 loss at home in last year’s playoff game is still fresh in the memory banks and being a 2½ point dog will motivate Buffalo even more. The Bills will also be well-rested, having 9 days off after taking care of the Bucs at home on October 26th. For some reason, the Bills OC, Ken Dorsey, had the bright idea of slowing down Josh Allen and the up tempo Bills offense and that isn’t the way Josh plays the game. Dorsey came to his senses and let Josh be Josh, and what did he do? Allen threw for 324 yards against Tampa with 2 TDs and the Bills cruised to a victory. The Bengals are riding high after knocking off the 49ers last week and have won 3 straight so this will not be a walk in the park for Buffalo. Joe Burrow is getting healthy. He has thrown for 1,513 yards with 10 TDs and has a passer rating of 87.00 but Allen has been better. He has thrown for 2,165 yards with 17 TDs and has a 101.5 passer rating. The Bills should be able to move the ball on the ground against the Bengals, who are mediocre at best against the run game, and if Allen is allowed to play his wide open style of football, the Bills win.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +2½

Sunday NFL Pick

Two Black and Blue Division rivals will face each other today when the Minnesota Vikings visit Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings will go for their third straight win and are coming off a huge upset victory over the heavily favored San Francisco 49ers on Monday so they will have plenty of swagger going into this one. Minnesota’s Kirk Cousins has thrown for 2,057 yards with 16 TDs and has found a new favorite target in rookie, Jordan Addison, who had 7 catches and 2 TDs against the stout San Francisco defense. On the flip side, Matt LaFleur’s team has lost 3 straight and it appears rookie quarterback Jordan Love might not be the answer. He has thrown for just 1,263 yards with 10 TDs and 7 interceptions. The line opened at Green Bay -1 and has flipped to Minnesota laying 1. The Vikings have had issues with turnovers but if they hang onto the ball, they win.
