The Buffalo Bills were arguably the best team in football last year and if not for some inept coaching strategy late in the game with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bills would have gone onto the AFC Championship Game with the Cincinnati Bengals and won. Tonight kicks off a new season and Buffalo will be in Inglewood to face the Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams. If you think the Bills were good last year well they got better. Buffalo went out and acquired 8 time Pro Bowl linebacker Von Miller, who will bring leadership to their already stellar defense which was lacking in the past. Josh Allen can hurt you through the air and on the ground. The Bills gunslinger threw for 4,407 yards last year with 36 TD’s but knocking off the Champs will not be easy. Matthew Stafford had 4,886 passing yards last year for the Rams with 41 TD’s and has the best receiver in the game, Cooper Kupp. Kupp won the triple crown a year ago, leading the league in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and receiving touchdowns (16). Simply put, Buffalo needs to contain the dynamic duo, and if they do, they win the game. The Bills are currently laying 2½ with a money line of only -135. Don’t sweat the points and consider the Bills on the money line.

Saturday NFL Pick
The AFC Divisional Playoff game has the Tennessee Titans hosting the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have quietly become one of the dominant teams in the NFL and are led by their second year quarterback, Joe Burrow. He proved he is the real deal in last week’s 26-19 victory over the Raiders, going 24/34 with 2 TDs, 244 yards, and no interceptions. Burrow had a stellar regular season, throwing for 4,611 yards, 34 TDs, and had the league’s best 70.4% completion rate. The Titans will see the return of Derrick Henry but the Bengals will be able to contain the King with a rush defense that is allowing an average of just 102.5 yards per game. The Bengals are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings with the Titans, and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 in Tennessee.
TODAY’S PICK: CINCINNATI BENGALS +4
Monday NFL Pick
The Arizona Cardinals should be able to get under the number tonight in the NFC Wild Card game with the Los Angeles Rams. The Cardinals are currently getting 3½ points and took care of business at SoFi Stadium back on Oct 3rd, knocking off the Rams 37-20. Arizona is also 18-6-2 ATS in their last 27 road games and could see the return of All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt, who has been out since Week 7 with a shoulder injury. The Rams finished the season 12-5 but were just 2-5 against teams that were playoff contenders and are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 against teams with a winning record.
TONIGHT’S PICK: ARIZONA CARDINALS +3½
Sunday NFL Pick
The Buffalo Bills will be laying a lot of chalk today when they host the Atlanta Falcons but they will cover. Buffalo is the better team on both sides of the ball and are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 against teams with a losing record. Don’t let the number scare you.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS -14½
Sunday NFL Pick
The Buffalo Bills will have payback on their minds today when they head to Foxboro for a matchup with the New England Patriots. The Bills fell at home to the Patriots in their last meeting, 14-10, but expect a different outcome today. Buffalo got back on track last week with a convincing 31-14 victory over the Carolina Panthers, while New England’s 7-game run came to an abrupt end with a 27-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Buffalo is by far the better team on both sides of the ball and they have Josh Allen at the helm. The Bills destroyed the Patriots the last time they visited Foxboro, winning 38-9, and are 8-3-2 ATS in their last 13 as a road dog. With the Patriots at home, the calls will not go the Bills way and that’s just the way it is in this league, but if they play a squeaky clean game and Buffalo’s OC, Brian Daboll, lets Allen loose, the Bills come away with a victory.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +2
Sunday NFL Pick
Losing is not an option for the Pittsburgh Steelers, if they want to see the post-season, and I expect they will come out on top today when they host the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee is not the same team without RB Derrick Henry and that has been evident over their last three games. The Titans have only one win in their last three, with the solo win coming against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. The two losses were a thumping by the New England Patriots and a loss at home to the inept Houston Texans. The Steelers are always tough at Heinz Field, have won the last three meetings with the Titans, and Big Ben can still get it done.
TODAY’S PICK: PITTSBURGH STEELERS M/L
Sunday NFL Pick
Tom Brady has always been a thorn in the side of the Buffalo Bills and that is who they will be facing today when they visit Raymond James Stadium for a matchup with the Tampa Bay Bucs. Buffalo cannot afford to lose this game if they want to keep pace with the surging New England Patriots and they know it. The Bills’ defense is allowing an average of just 165.3 yards through the air and they should keep Brady and Gronk in check. Buffalo is also 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a dog.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +3.5
