Friday NCAA Football Pick

The Cincinnati Bearcats are at home today against the Eastern Carolina Pirates. The Bearcats are a perfect 4-0 at home, have won the last 4 against the Bucs, and today will be no different. Don’t monkey with the points and money line Cinn.
TODAY’S PICK: CINCINNATTI BEARCATS M/L

Thursday NHL Pick

Darryl Sutter’s Calgary Flames are spiraling out of control, losers of their last 6, and tonight they will be in Boston to take on the Bruins. Good luck. The Bruins are 7-0 at home and are the best thing on ice.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BOSTON BRUINS

Wednesday NCAA Football Pick

The Buffalo Bulls are currently a slight road dog (but that might change) going into tonight’s game with the Central Michigan Chippewas. The Bulls are 5-4 overall, 3-3 on the road, and have been a covering machine. They are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 overall and 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Chips are 3-6 overall, 1-3 at home, and unlike Buffalo they have not been covering. They are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 overall, 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 home games, and have lost their last 2 meetings with Buffalo.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO BULLS +1½

Tuesday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres will look to get back in the Win column tonight when they return home to KeyBank Center to face the Arizona Coyotes. The Sabres last two losses were on the road to two of the league’s elite teams, the Carolina Hurricanes and the Tampa Bay Lightning, and they gave both of them a run for their money. The Sabres should come out on top tonight. Buffalo is 4-2 at home, and are averaging 4.1 goals per game and allowing 3.2. Arizona is 3-4 on the road, and are averaging 2.8 goals per game and allowing 4.1. The Sabres have won the last two meetings and are the better team on the ice tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES

Monday NHL Pick

The St. Louis Blues are on a 6-game losing streak. Will they get back on track tonight when they visit the Boston Bruins? I doubt it. The Bruins are rolling everybody, with a record of 10-2 and they are a perfect 6-0 at TD Garden. They are averaging 4.2 goals per game as opposed to the Blues’ 2.3. During their 6-game skid, St. Louis has been outscored 30-10 and that does not bode well for them, with Linus Ullmark expected to be between the pipes for Boston. Ullmark is 8-0-0 with a GAA of only 2.17 and a .920 SV%.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BOSTON BRUINS

Sunday NHL Pick

The New York Rangers and the Detroit Red Wings will face off against each other today at MSG. The 6-3-2 Wings notched another one at home yesterday, blanking the Islanders 3-0. Detroit has been stellar in the Motor City, with a record of 5-1-1, but on the road it’s a different story. They are 1-2-1 away from Little Caesars Arena and will be playing back-to-back games, where they are 17-40 in their last 57 with no days rest. The 6-4-2-Rangers are 3-2-2 at the Garden, will be well rested, and have owned the Red Wings. New York is 5-1 in their last 6 meetings overall and 10-4 in the last 14 meetings in Manhattan. It will be difficult for the Red Wings to find the back of the net. The Rangers are expected to have the best goalie on the planet between the pipes, Igor Shesterkin, who is 6-1-2 with a 2.41 GAA and a .916 SV%.
TODAY’S PICK: NEW YORK RANGERS

Saturday NCAA Football Pick

Two ACC rivals will square off today when the Syracuse Orange visit the Pittsburgh Panthers. Both teams will look to get back on track after losing their last two. The Orange come in at 6-2 and 3-1 in conference play. The Panthers are at 4-4 and just 1-3 in conference play. There is concern on the Syracuse side with starting quarterback Garrett Shrader, who is questionable for today’s matchup after being knocked out of last week’s game with a concussion. The way the Orange can overcome this hurdle, if Shrader doesn’t play, is feed the ball to star running back Sean Tucker who has 758 yards and 7 touchdowns. Syracuse has a stellar pass defense, allowing just 164.5 yards per game, so they should be able to keep Pitt’s quarterback, Kedon Slovis, in check. The Orange are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall where the Panthers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games. The road team is 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings, the Q are currently getting 4, and they are worth considering.
TODAY’S PICK: SYRACUSE ORANGE +4
