The Buffalo Bills are on a roll. After last week’s thumping of the Seattle Seahawks, the Bills have won 3 straight and have outscored their opponents, 88 to 40, over that span. This afternoon the only team that resides in the Empire State will host their archrival Miami Dolphins. Buffalo’s signal caller, Josh Allen, is proving week in and week out that he is the best there is. The Bills’ gunslinger has 14 passing TDs and 3 rushing with only 1 pick. The 2-5 Dolphins are just 1-2 on the road and their southpaw quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, gets too much attention, which is not warranted. The Bills are a perfect 3-0 in Orchard Park. They put a beating on the Fish in South Florida back in September, 31-10, and Tagovailoa was 17 of 25 with 3 picks. Forget about it.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS M/L
Saturday NHL Pick
The Vegas Golden Knights return home tonight to T-Mobile Arena to host the Utah Hockey Club. Vegas has been a scoring machine, averaging over 4 goals per game. They are also a perfect 7-0 on the strip. Utah started out of the gate on a winning note but have lost 4 of their last 5 and are revealing what they really are – a mediocre team at best.
TONIGHT’S PICK: VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Friday NHL Pick
Tonight the 6-2-1 New York Rangers will be at the friendly confines, MSG, when they host the 5-4-0 Ottawa Senators. After winning 4 straight, the Rangers have hit a bump in the road, losing 2 of their last 3 but they will get back on track tonight. New York is 2-1-1 at the Garden and have won the last 2 meetings with the Sens. This will not be a walk in the park for New York. Ottawa can score, averaging over 4 goals per game, but away from Canada’s capital they are just 1-3-0.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK RANGERS
Thursday NHL Pick
After going 0-5 to start the season, the Nashville Predators have won 3 of their last 4 and will be hosting the Edmonton Oilers tonight at Bridgestone Arena. The Oil will be without the best player on the planet, Connor McDavid, and without him they are nothing. It’s time for the Preds to pounce.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NASHVILLE PREDATORS
Wednesday MLB Pick
Facing elimination last night in game 4 of the World Series, the New York Yankees stood their ground and lived to see another day by pummeling the Los Angeles Dodgers, 11-4. Tonight at the Stadium with momentum on their side, the Yankees will send their ace, Gerrit Cole, to the hill. Cole, who is 1-0 in the postseason with a 2.82 ERA, was pitching a gem in game 1 and for some unknown reason Aaron Boone made another bonehead decision, pulling his flamethrower after 6 innings and the Yankees went on to lose in extras, 6-3. The Dodgers are expected to send Jack Flaherty to the hill. Flaherty is 1-2 in the postseason with a 6.10 ERA. He was sharp in game 1 against the Yankees but left the game with a hamstring pull which could be an issue tonight. Yankees Stadium is going to be electric, the Bombers bats have awoken, and New York will have one of the best in the business on the hill, Gerrit Cole. Aaron Boone is one of the most inept managers the game has ever seen. If he just stays out of it and lets Gerrit Cole do his thing, the Yankees head to Los Angeles for game 6.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK YANKEES
Tuesday NHL Pick
The Boston Bruins snapped their 3-game skid on Saturday with an OT win over the Toronto Maple Leafs so they should have plenty of momentum on their side when they host the bottom feeding Philadelphia Flyers tonight at TD Garden. The Bruins are 4-4-1 overall, 3-2-0 at home, and have had the 2-6-1 Flyers’ number. They have won 7 of the last 8 meetings with the Broad Street Bullies, average more goals per game and give up less.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BOSTON BRUINS
Monday MLB Pick
The New York Yankees find themselves down 0-2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the big dance but return home tonight to the Bronx for game 3, game 4 and 5, if necessary. The Yankees should have come out of LA with a split but didn’t. Due to Aaron Boone’s inept managing skills, they are in a hole, but they are not done yet. This is a must win game for the Bombers and they know it and will hold nothing back. Walker Buehler is expected to get the nod for the Dodgers and if Aaron Judge is going to break out of his slump it will be tonight. Since having Tommy John surgery, Buehler is a shadow of his old self. In the regular season, Buehler was a dismal 1-6 with a 5.38 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP. New York is expected to hand the ball to Clarke Schmidt, who was steady in the regular season with a record of 5-5, an excellent ERA of 2.85, and a 1.18 WHIP. The Boys from River Ave. have been down 0-2 in the World Series before and won it. They came back in 1996 against the Atlanta Braves, in 1978 against the LA Dodgers, in 1958 against the Milwaukee Braves, and in 1956 against the Brooklyn Dodgers.
