Tuesday NHL Pick

The Philadelphia Flyers have the best home record in the NHL, with a mark of 25-5-4, and will be hosting the best in the business tonight when they square off against the Boston Bruins. The Flyers will have their 9-game winning streak on the line and after tonight it will be 10. They are 4-0 in their last 4 meetings with the Bruins and 4-1 in their last 5 against them at Wells Fargo Center. The Broad Street Bullies are hot. Ride them ’til their not.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

Monday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The San Francisco Dons will be spotted 13 points when they take on one of the best in the nation, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, tonight at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas. Are the Dons going to win this game? Probably not, but cover, yes. San Fran is 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games at a neutral site and can hang with Gonzaga. The Dons pushed the Bulldogs to the brink back on February 1st and they will do it again tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SAN FRANCISCO DONS +13

Sunday NHL Pick

The Tampa Bay Lightning will go from playing the best in the business to the worst when they visit the Motor City today for a matchup with the Detroit Red Wings. This looks like a slam dunk but hold on a minute. Tampa is coming off a grueling matchup with the Boston Bruins last night, in which they won, then they have to travel across the country and lace up again with only 17 hours of rest. That’s tough to do. Detroit is well rested and will be playing with confidence after knocking off the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday, 2-1. This has upset written all over it.
TODAY’S PICK: DETROIT RED WINGS

Saturday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Fort Wayne Mastodons will have to be on their A-game today when they face the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. SD State has taken care of IPFW twice this year, winning 70-61 on January 11th and 75-64 on February 16th. Today should be no different. Lay the 7 with the hook and take the Jackrabbits.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SOUTH DAKOTA STATE JACKRABBITS -7.5

Friday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Akron Zips boast an impressive 14-2 home record and tonight they will have payback on their minds when they host the Kent State Golden Flashes. Kent State eked out a 68-67 victory at home over Akron on January 31st but tonight the Golden Flashes are on the road, with a record of 5-6, where they are averaging 69.5 points per game, allowing an average of 71.9, and are 9-8 in conference play. On the flip side, the Zips are putting up an average of 74.3 points per game at James A. Rhodes Arena, allowing an average of 63.5, and are 13-4 in conference play. Numbers don’t lie. Consider the Zips in this one.
TONIGHT’S PICK: AKRON ZIPS M/L

Thursday NHL Pick

The New York Islanders are still in the playoff hunt but had better get back on track soon if they want to see the post-season. They will have that opportunity tonight when they travel north of the border to take on the Ottawa Senators. The Islanders have won 6 straight against the Sens, and both meetings this year, but this will not be as easy as it appears. Despite having only 58 points to their credit, Ottawa is a tough opponent at Canadian Tire Centre, with a record of 17-13-6, and they have the veteran, Bobby Ryan, back on the ice, who was out with some personnel issues. However, New York is due after losing 4 straight and if they are going to get back on track it will be tonight against an Ottawa team they have dominated.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK ISLANDERS

Wednesday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The #3 ranked Dayton Flyers will have their 18-game win streak on the line tonight when they travel to Ryan Center to face the Rhode Island Rams. The Flyers won the Atlantic 10 regular season title on Friday, with a 82-67 thumping of Davidson, and are a perfect 16-0 in the Atlantic 10 conference. The Rams have lost 3 of their last 5 and were throttled by the Flyers on February 11th, 81-67. Dayton is 8-0 on the road and leads the nation in field goal percentage at 52.6. The Flyers keep it going.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DAYTON FLYERS M/L
