Monday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds will be a road dog tonight when they visit the Portland State Vikings in a Big Sky matchup. The Birds are currently getting 2 and are getting no respect by the public but they will be a formidable foe for the Vikings tonight. SUU is averaging 77.0 points per game and allowing an average of 63.6. On the flip side, Portland State is averaging 79.2 points per game but have a defense that is allowing an average of 73.4. The numbers say take the 2 and the Thunderbirds.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SOUTHERN UTAH THUNDERBIRDS +2

Sunday NHL Pick

The New Jersey Devils are going through some rough times and tonight they will be north of the border for a meeting with the Ottawa Senators. The Devils are just 7-11 on the road and are coming off a 4-5 OT loss to Toronto on Friday where they scored on their own goal. That’s not good. The upstart Senators are a force at Canadian Tire Centre, where they boast an 11-5-1 record and beat the Devils in their first meeting this year, 4-2. This will be the Sens first game since the Christmas break and if they don’t have a holiday hangover they prevail.
TONIGHT’S PICK: OTTAWA SENATORS

Saturday NCAA Football Pick

The defending National Champions, the Clemson Tigers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes will meet tonight in Glendale, Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl. Ohio State is ranked #5 in the nation in offense but quarterback Justin Fields has been wearing a knee brace which has slowed his moblilty and if he can’t move around in the pocket the Buckeyes could be in trouble. Clemson has the #1 ranked defense in the country and are averaging 2.85 sacks per game. The Tigers have won 28 consecutive games and have averaged 42.1 points in their last 8. That’s impressive.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CLEMSON TIGERS M/L

Friday NHL Pick

The San Jose Sharks have lost 3 straight and 9 of their last 10 but look for them to get back on track tonight when they play host to the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings are also on a 3-game skid and have just 5 road victories under their belt. San Jose won the first 2 meetings with Los Angeles this year and 7 of the last 10. The Sharks at the Tank are always worth considering.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SAN JOSE SHARKS

Tuesday NCAA Football Pick

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors will be getting 2.5 points tonight when they take on the Brigham Young Cougars. Hawaii has a gun slinger named Cole McDonald and this guy delivers. McDonald is ranked fifth in the nation, has passed for 3,642 yards with 29 touchdowns, and has rushed for 393 yards with 6 touchdowns. BYU has been flip-flopping quarterbacks all year and are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games. You can’t trust them. Take the points.
