As usual, the Buffalo Bills are getting no respect, but what else is new? They will be a home dog today when they host the Baltimore Ravens. If anyone can slow down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, it’s the 9-3 Buffalo Bills. The Bills defense is ranked third in the league and on the other side of the ball, they have a gunslinger named Josh Allen pulling the strings. This guy is the real deal. Buffalo will be on 9 days’ rest after putting the screws to the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving day. Weather in Buffalo today is 43 degrees and cloudy – just how the Western New Yorkers like it.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +6
Saturday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
The Fordham Rams will have their unbeaten home record on the line today when they host the Manhattan Jaspers. The Rams are 4-0 in the Bronx, where they are averaging 61.2 points per game and holding opponents to an average of only 48.7. The Jaspers have lost two straight and are 1-3 on the road, where they are averaging 59.2 points per game and allowing an average of 68. Fordham has won the last two meetings with Manhattan and have the edge in field goal percentage, defense, rebounding, turnovers and bench. The Rams stay perfect at Rose Hill Gym.
TODAY’S PICK: FORDHAM RAMS M/L
Friday NHL Pick
The Edmonton Oilers have lost 3 of their last 4 overall and 3 straight at Rogers Centre but a visit tonight from the Los Angeles Kings should remedy that. LA is the bottom dweller in the Pacific Division, at 11-16-2, and on the road they are a dismal 2-10-1. Despite being in a bit of a funk, Edmonton still holds the second spot in the Pacific, at 17-10-3, and they will have payback on their minds tonight after being pummeled by the Kings in LA, 5-1, just two weeks ago.
TONIGHT’S PICK: EDMONTON OILERS
Thursday NFL Pick
The Chicago Bears will host the Dallas Cowboys tonight with both teams sitting at 6-6 on the season. Despite what the front office says in Dallas, Jason Garret’s job is in jeopardy. The Cowboys have lost two in a row but those losses were against two elite teams, the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots. The Bears are on a 2-game winning streak but there is nothing to get too excited about because the wins came against the lowly Detroit Lions and New York Giants. Dallas is by far the more talented team and has an offense that is averaging 432.8 yards per game, as opposed to the Bears’ average of 281.8. Dallas wins this one for the coach.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DALLAS COWBOYS M/L
Wednesday NHL Pick
The St. Louis Blues are hot, winning 4 straight, and will take their show on the road tonight to face the Pittsburgh Penguins. These two clubs met just 4 days ago in St. Louis with the Blues prevailing, 5-2. St. Louis has been a force on the road, with a record of 10-2-3, and will be facing a Pittsburgh team that is tough at home, with a record of 10-3-2 but they have too many key players out with injuries to slow down the Champs. Blues stay hot.
TONIGHT’S PICK: ST. LOUIS BLUES
Tuesday NHL Pick
The Vegas Golden Knights are starting to click and will take their 3-game winning streak to Prudential Center tonight for a matchup with the New Jersey Devils. The Devils were lit up last night by the Buffalo Sabres, 7-1, and looked like a team that didn’t care, just going through the motions. On the flip side, Vegas looked sharp against a really good Rangers team last night, knocking them off 4-1 at MSG, and have played well on the road with a record of 7-6-1.
TONIGHT’S PICK: VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Monday NHL Pick
The Buffalo Sabres will be hosting the New Jersey Devils tonight at Key Bank Center. The Devils were pounded on Saturday by the New York Rangers, 4-0, and they are headed to Buffalo with a road record of 5-6-0. The Sabres are 7-3-3 at Key Bank and home ice matters.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES
