The Syracuse Orange will be hosting #22 ranked Florida State Seminoles tonight at the Dome. The Q are 11-3 on their home court and will win this game tonight because of their defense. The Orange are allowing just 58.3 points per game at home and putting up an average of 70.4. The Seminoles are just 2-3 on the road, where they are averaging 72.4 points per game and allowing an average of 70.8. Florida State might have the oranges but Syracuse has the juice.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SYRACUSE ORANGE M/L
Monday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
The Canisius Golden Griffins will have a little swagger in their step tonight when they host the boys from Pougkeepsie, the Marist Red Foxes. The Griffins are coming off a 75-70 win over the Quinnipiac Bobcats and winning can be contagious. Marist is just 3-9 on the road, where they are averaging 66.3 points per game and, on the flip side, Canisius is averaging 74.2 on their home court.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CANISIUS GOLDEN GRIFFINS M/L
Sunday NBA Pick
If the New York Knicks are going to win another game it might today because they will be hosting the Memphis Grizzlies in a matinée at MSG. The Knickerbockers have now lost 12 in a row but the Griz are also pathetic, losing 3 straight and are just 8-10 on the road. Believe it or not, New York will have the edge in this match-up in points per game, free throw percentage, rebounding, turnovers and bench. Run with the Knicks.
TODAY’S PICK: NEW YORK KNICKS M/L
Saturday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
The Nevada Wolf Pack, will put their perfect 10-0 home record on the line today when they host the Boise State Broncos in a matinée at Lawlor Events Center. When the Pack are on their home court, they deliver, averaging 81.7 points per game and giving up an average of 58.9. The Broncos sit at 3-5 on the road, averaging 68.8 points per game and allowing an average of 68.6. Lay the points and take the Pack.
TODAY’S PICK: NEVADA WOLF PACK -14.5
Friday NHL Pick
The Buffalo Sabres will open a 7-game home stand tonight when they return to KeyBank Center for a match-up with the Chicago Blackhawks. Chicago comes into tonight’s contest just 8-14-3 on the road and have not played since January 22nd, so rust and timing will definitely be a factor in their performance. Buffalo, on the other hand, has played two games since the All-Star break, so rust and timing will not be an issue for them. The Sabres are a very respectable 14-6-3 at KeyBank and will get it done tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES
Thursday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
The Delaware Blue Hens should notch another road victory tonight when they visit Schar Center to take on the Elon University Phoenix. The Hens are ranked 81st in offensive field goal percentage and are 6-4 on the road, averaging 71.2 points per game and allowing an average of 73.7. The Phoenix are ranked 219th in offensive field goal percentage and are just 3-8 on their home court, averaging 70.7 points per game and allowing an average of 82.6. These two teams met back on January 5th, with Delaware winning decisively, 77-65. The Hens are currently laying 2 (no pun intended) with a money line of -145 so this will be a play on Delaware, money line.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DELAWARE BLUE HENS M/L
Wednesday NBA Pick
The Sacramento Kings will be glad to get back to Golden 1 Center tonight after going 2-4 on their recent road trip. Sac will be hosting the Atlanta Hawks who are coming off a big win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Even though the Hawks beat a really good Clipper team, I wouldn’t get too excited. They are still 16-33 on the season and 8-20 on the road. Sacramento sits at 25-25 with a home record of 14-10. The Kings destroyed the Hawks in Atlanta back in November, 146-115, and will have the edge in points per game, field goal percentage, defense, turnovers and bench. The line is currently Sacramento -5.5 and who knows where it will end up? I like the Kings on the money line.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SACRAMENTO KINGS M/L
