Royals came through yesterday so let’s keep it rolling with the Mets today. New York has lost 4 straight. They have Colon on the hill who is 6-1 on the year. They should get the win tonight at home against the Brewers. The Mets have the edge in starting pitching, bullpen, hitting, speed and defense.

Thursday Baseball Pick

I had mentioned the line was fishy yesterday in the Oakland game, dropping from 150 to 132. Sonny Gray pitched a great game again but had no run support.

Today let’s go with Guthrie and the Royals in an early game over Detwiler and the Rangers. The edge in pitching sides with the Royals; their day record is 7-3 and the Rangers’ is 3-5. The Rangers are not good at home with a 5-10 record and the Royals post a 10-8 record on the road.

Hockey Playoffs

Hats off to the New York Ramgers for wrapping up their series against the Washington Capitals. With that series win by the Rangers, I was 4-0 – winning with Chicago, Anaheim, Tampa Bay and New York.

Hockey Update

Congratulations to Tampa Bay Lightning, closing out the series against the Habs. In hockey picks for the last series, I’ve won 3 out of 4 and am just waiting for Rangers to wrap it up against the Capitals.

Wednesday Baseball Pick

It was a good day yesterday with the Reds winning at home.

I like the early game in Oakland today. Sonny Gray has an ERA of 2.14 and WHIP of 1.19 against Boston while Wade Miley has an ERA of 7.71 and a WHIP of 1.63. Boston is 7-22 in their last 29 games in Oakland however the line opened at Oakland -150 and is now – 132. This may give some reason for concern if you like Oakland. I’m going with Oakland anyway because of Sonny Gray.
