Tuesdays Baseball Pick

Tough loss for Oakland last night in extra innings. Tonight I’m looking at the Reds to snap a 3 game skid at home with DeSclafani on the hill. Cincinnati’short stop Cozart is probably out tonight with a sore wrist. Atlanta is 2-8 in their last 10 road games, 3-13 for their last 16 Tuesday games and 1-9 in their last 10 games following a win.

Today’s pick:

Cincinnati Reds

Hockey Playoff Update

Yesterday I called Rangers and Ducks to win. On April 30th, I predicted that the Ducks and Blackhawks would win their respective series in round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. So far, 100% of my hockey predictions have happened.

Now I’m waiting to see if Tampa Bay and Rangers can wrap it up in round 2 wins.

Monday Baseball Pick

Great day yesterday, winning 3 for 3, including the dog bet with the Royals win. Let’s keep it rolling! I like Scott “Kaz” Kazmir in Oakland. They’ve lost 5 in a row and you have a quality pitcher at home that’s ripe for a win.

Today’s pick:

Oakland Athletics

Hockey Notes

Continuing with my NY state of mind, let’s not forget the Rangers – it’s do or die for them.

Ducks should close it out today at home. They were toying with Calgary in the last game but look at that betting line.

Sunday Baseball Picks

I’m in a New York frame of mind and favor Yankees and Pineda. Norris has owned the Yanks but things could change…

I also like the Mets today and “Tubby” Colon. Remember Billingsley for Phillies? Where has he been?

Tonight’s dog pick is the Royals.

Today’s picks:

NY Yankees
NY Mets
Kansas City Royals

Saturday Baseball Picks

Update: Pitching change in Cincinnati. Cueto is going in the early game against Noesi. Marquis is going later against Rodon.

Today’s early picks:

Cincinnati Reds – first game of double header
NY Yankees
Detroit Tigers

Late today:

Seattle Mariners
Houston Astros

Friday Baseball Picks

It was a good win yesterday with the Dodger Blue blowing out the Brew Crew 14-4.

Tonight in Philadelphia, Matt Harvey (Mets) takes the hill looking to become the first 6-game winner in the Majors. He’s faced Philadelphia six times in his career, winning five, with one “no decision”. Over those six games, his ERA is 1.60 so I’m taking Mets and Harvey.

Also, look for Tampa Bay to cool off the red hot Rangers at home tonight.

Friday’s picks:

NY Mets
Tampa Bay Rays
