The St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies will play the middle game of their 3-game set today at Busch. Miles Mikolas is expected to be on the hill for the Cards. Mikolas has an ERA of 11.25 (and that is not a typo) with a 2.00 WHIP. Harper and company are going to light this guy up.

The Chicago White Sox and the Boston Red Sox will open a 3-game set tonight on the south side. Chicago has lost 8 straight but will get back on the rails tonight. Southpaw Sean Newcomb is expected on the hill for Boston and his numbers are not good. Newcomb is 0-1 with a 5.18 ERA, a bloated 2.18 WHIP, and the White Sox are 4-0 in their last 4 home games against a left-handed starter.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CHICAGO WHITE SOX

The Toronto Blue Jays will go for a 4-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox today at Fenway. The Jays have outscored the Red Sox 14-4 over the first 3 and are expected to have Chris Bassitt on the hill. Bassitt has been outstanding, with an ERA of only 0.71 and a 1.11 WHIP over 12 innings of work. It’s hard to sweep on the road but Toronto has it in them.
TODAY’S PICK: TORONTO BLUE JAYS

The Atlanta Braves will be hosting the Philadelphia Phillies tonight at Truist Park. The expected starters are Zack Wheeler for the Phillies and Chris Sale for the Braves. Wheeler has been dealing. Over 13 innings of work he as an ERA of just 1.38 and a WHIP barely visible at 0.54. The reigning NL Cy Young winner, Sale, has gotten off to a rocky start, owning a 5.40 ERA over 10 innings of work. The Braves are averaging under 3 runs per game and that doesn’t bode well for them with Wheeler on the hill.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES

The Texas Rangers will go for a sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays today in Arlington, but not so fast. Tampa will have Drew Rasmussen on the hill. He was lights out in his season debut against the Pittsburgh Pirates, which cannot be said about the Rangers expected starter, Kumar Rocker. Rocker was lit up in his last turn against the Cincinatti Reds and should be sent back down to the minors.
TODAY’S PICK: TAMPA BAY RAYS

The New York Mets will open a 3-game set tonight in Queens with the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays have won 4 straight but that ends tonight. The Mets superstar, Juan Soto, is off to a slow start but it’s just a matter of time until he finds the barrel and that will be tonight against the Jays expected starter, Kevin Gausman.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK METS

The New York Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks will play the middle game of their 3-game set tonight in the Bronx. NY lost the first one, 7-5, but will even the score tonight. The Yankee’s ace, Carlos Rodón, is expected on the hill and he was outstanding in his first turn of the season. The D-backs are expected to counter with Zac Gallen, who was lit up in his first outing. Yankees are averaging 12 runs per game and will take care of business tonight.
