Wednesday Baseball Picks

Tonight I’m taking the Royals at home with Guthrie. In his last 3 starts, he has an ERA of 4.91 and WHIP of 1.42. Marquis for Cinci has an ERA of 8.40 and WHIP of 1.80 for his past 3 starts. Cincinnati is 1-8 in its last 9 interleague games. KC is 6-2 in its last 8 interleague games.

I also like the Tigers to snap their 3 game skid tonight at home against the Brewers.

Tonight’s picks:

Kansas City Royals
Detroit Tigers

Tuesday Baseball Picks

Good day yesterday with Oakland and the Phillies coming through. Detroit should get the win today with Sanchez on the hill. The Tigers have the edge in starting pitching, hitting, power, speed and defense. I also like the White Sox. They are hot. Quintana has been sharp in his last 3 starts with an ERA of 1.89 and a WHIP of 1.00. On the flip side, Bauer has struggled in his last 3 starts with an ERA of 6.48 and a WHIP of 1.56.

Today’s picks:

Detroit Tigers
Chicago White Sox

Monday Baseball Picks

I’m going with Phillies and A’s today.

Watch out for the Tigers. The systems leans towards Motown but the line has moved from -141 and it’s now -118. Something’s fishy.

Today’s picks:

Philadelphia Phillies
Oakland Athletics

Friday Baseball Pick

Royals came through yesterday so let’s keep it rolling with the Mets today. New York has lost 4 straight. They have Colon on the hill who is 6-1 on the year. They should get the win tonight at home against the Brewers. The Mets have the edge in starting pitching, bullpen, hitting, speed and defense.

Today’s pick:

New York Mets

Thursday Baseball Pick

I had mentioned the line was fishy yesterday in the Oakland game, dropping from 150 to 132. Sonny Gray pitched a great game again but had no run support.

Today let’s go with Guthrie and the Royals in an early game over Detwiler and the Rangers. The edge in pitching sides with the Royals; their day record is 7-3 and the Rangers’ is 3-5. The Rangers are not good at home with a 5-10 record and the Royals post a 10-8 record on the road.

Today’s pick:

Kansas City Royals
