The Fordham Rams will be a road favorite tonight when they visit the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers. The Rams are in the #4 spot in the Atlantic 10, with a record of 21-6, and are 9-5 in conference play. The Ramblers are dead last in the A10, in the #15 spot. They are 9-17 on the season and just 3-11 in conference play. Fordham is, by far, the better team top to bottom, and they cover, going 8-2 ATS in their last 10, but the Rams are currently laying just 2? Fishy. Consider Fordham on the money line at only -132.

The Nevada Wolf Pack will return home tonight for a matchup with the San Jose State Spartans. Nevada should bounce back after falling to the Utah State Aggies on Saturday, a game in which they led by 15 at the half but let slip away. Tonight they will look to remain perfect at Lawlor Center where they are 13-0, and that should happen. The Wolf Pack destroyed the Spartans in San Jose back on January 7th, 67-40. The Pack have the edge in points per game, points allowed, field goals, 3-pointers, etc., etc., and they cover at home. The line is currently around 9 depending on where you shop and if Nevada wants to cover they will, easily.

The Cleveland State Vikings will be hosting their Horizon foe, the Northern Kentucky Norse today in a matinée at Wolstein Center. Both teams are clicking. The Vikes have won 3 straight and are 7-3 in their last 10, with the Norse winning their last 2 and they have also won 7 of their last 10. When these two teams meet, it’s always a toe-to-toe battle, with the home team usually coming out on top. With that said, the Norse are just 4-5 on the road and the Vikings are 11-3 in Cleveland.

The Niagara Purple Eagles will be a road dog tonight when they visit the Mount Saint Mary’s Mountaineers. The Mountaineers are just 3-8 on their home court, have lost 2 straight and 5 of their last 6. The Purple Eagles are 5-1 in their last 6, beat the Mountaineers convincingly, 67-55, on New Year’s Eve and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games.

The Niagara Purple Eagles will be getting no respect when they host the Iona Gaels today in an early one at Gallagher Center, and that suits me just fine. The Purple Eagles are no push over and especially at home. In Lewiston, they are 8-2, 4th in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and 9-5 in conference play. The Gaels are a good team – that is a given. They are 2nd in the MAAC, 10-3 in conference play but just 4-4 on the road. Niagara is hot. They have won 5 straight, are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 overall, and the home team is 4-0-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.

The Cornell Big Red will be a road favorite today when they visit the Brown Bears. Cornell is 15-7, 3rd in the Ivy League and 6-6 on the road. Brown is 12-10, 4th in the Ivy League and 6-4 at home. Cornell has lost their last two so they are due for a win. The Big Red can score, averaging 84.8 points per game as opposed the Bears’ 68.3. They also beat Brown, 80-73, back on January 28th. Cornell is currently laying 2 with a money line of only -132.

The Nevada Wolf Pack are still perfect at Lawlor Center and tonight they will go for their 13th straight home victory when they host the Fresno State Bulldogs. Not only do the Pack win in Reno, they cover. Nevada is 11-2-1 ATS in their last 14 home games. Fresno State is just 3-7 on the road and have not won at Lawlor Center since January 21, 2017. Nevada is averaging 78.7 points per game at home and allowing 64.7. On the road, Fresno State is averaging 63.2 points per game and allowing 69.8. The Pack is laying a lot of chalk. The current line is Nevada -9 but don’t let the number scare you. If they feel like blowing out the Bulldogs tonight they will.
